About The Project

This project is a reimagining of Brand New’s third studio album, The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me. Drawing from the original photographer’s work, I aimed to create a cover that both honors and reinterprets the album’s emotional themes. By using photography from the original source, I aimed to maintain a connection to the album’s roots while introducing a fresh perspective.

Aesthetic Choices

The design features a monochrome and grainy aesthetic, chosen to emphasize a dark, moody atmosphere that aligns with the album’s intense themes. Each visual element was carefully selected to reference the songs and convey the record's deeper meaning. The result is a cover that captures the album's raw emotional depth and unsettling tone.
