About The Project

During my time at Allegra Print & Mail, I had the privilege of designing a custom wide-format roll-up banner for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The RCMP approached us with a request to create a design similar to one used by the Halifax division, but with unique elements to reflect their own identity.

The design was created entirely in Adobe Illustrator, and I carefully followed the RCMP's official branding guidelines to ensure proper usage of their logos, colors, and assets. This was essential in maintaining consistency with the RCMP’s established brand image and ensuring that there were no errors in the application of their visual identity.

The banner features a solid blue background with the RCMP/GRC logo subtly repeating and fading out along the edges, culminating in a large fade at the bottom. This creates a dynamic and professional look while keeping the focus on the key elements of the design.

A key consideration was the placement of the RCMP crest. I scaled and positioned the crest in the top right corner, ensuring that it would be fully visible during interviews and public appearances. This thoughtful positioning allowed individuals to stand next to the banner with the crest clearly visible, enhancing its impact during events.
